## **Governance Structure**

LanguageDAO operates as a **decentralized autonomous organization (DAO)**, ensuring that data contribution, management, and access are governed through transparent and community-driven decision-making. The governance model consists of:

* **Token-Based Voting:** DAO members (contributors, validators, and stakeholders) use governance tokens to vote on data access policies, pricing, and partnerships through [Metalife.social](https://metalife.social/).
* **Proposal System:** Businesses requesting data must submit proposals, which are reviewed and approved by DAO members.
* **Data Validators & Stewards:** Elected members or algorithmic checks verify the quality and compliance of requested data.
